My poor AJ.

These pictures don't do it justice at all, but when he woke up this morning, his face was all puffy, his ear was bright red, and his eye was almost swollen shut! Dr. Miller says it might be a mild skin infection, so we're trying antibiotics to see if they help. I hope he's feeling better for his birthday party on Saturday! :(

When I loaded my memory card tonight, I found this cute picture that Adam took of the boys yesterday. What a sweet Daddy!

And here's our pic for today. Coming home from cheering Daddy (and Grandpa, Uncle Fronk, Uncle DJ, & Uncle Dan) on in his softball games. Loaded with sugar from Licorice and Skittles.

AJ's cheesing it up, Aaron's giving Dad his classic "you are a crazy person" look. I love it.

We've gone through four of these books now. We read it every night before bed, and the boys love it, but are...shall we say...a little rough on the book itself. Last month, I bought copy #4 at Wal*Mart for $7.97 (plus tax). Today, I found one at a yard sale in perfect condition for fifty cents. I was so happy I busted some moves. Right then and there.

Why is it that for 14.5 hours, he refuses to sleep (no matter how hard Mom and Grandma try), but as soon as Dad scoops him up to cuddle, he's out like a light? It's really not fair.

3 Reasons I'll have a Happy Mother's Day

Again, I skipped yesterday. I only have 56 more days to do this, you think I would have it down by now. Anywhooo...here is a picture for yesterday (even though it was taken today) of AJ on our tree swing.

Today, we went to the farm to watch Grandpa and Dad dehorn the cows. The boys LOVED being so close to the cows, hearing them bellar and seeing them run.

I love this picture. It may look like Aaron is unhappy, but actually this is what he looks like when he is "moo"-ing. The moo-ing was pretty constant all morning, (from both AJ and Aaron) as well as the boys saying hi to Dad and Grandpa, and clapping/cheering when the grown-ups got a cow in the chute. They sure had fun.
